​Mitchell Groves (Harvey/Hatman): From childhood stages to animated pages, Melbourne-born Mitchell Groves has spent his life telling stories through music and performance. Mitchell's stage career spans hit musicals like Cruel Intentions (Blaine), Love Actually: The Musical Parody (Colin Firth & others), Xanadu (Sonny), Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Mamma Mia (Pepper)!, earning recognition for his powerful tenor voice and charismatic presence. 
A proud member of the Melbourne Gang Show for 24 years, Mitchell has grown from eager child cast member to Deputy Director, where he now guides and inspires the next generation of performers.
With Hatman, Mitchell brings heart, humour, and heroism to life in a whole new way.

Madeleine Featherby (Morgan La Fey): Madeleine hails from Melbourne, Australia and recently played the role of Francie in the new musical workshop development of To Catch A Thief in the US, adapted from the book and film of the same name. She has been nominated for a Green Room Award (Australia's premier performing arts industry award) and has also played the roles of: Sofia in The Mapmaker's Opera at The Pearl Theatre, New York City, Helen of Troy in Paris at Melbourne Recital Centre, It's Only Life at The Birdland Club, New York City, Young Heidi in Follies at Melbourne Recital Centre, and much more.

​Scott Edgar (Mr Big Wig): Hats off to Scott, who was the star of musical comedy trio, Tripod, has won a Grammy, and is an amazing artist and illustrator as well! Scott is also a fan of wearing a hat every now and then ...

​Lia Scantlebury (The Kid): Lia is a Year 10 student who LOVES singing, playing bass and reading. She has already done many shows, highlights being School of Rock (PLOS) and Castro’s Children (Music Theatre Melbourne). Lia adores music more than anything, so was thrilled to be a part of Hatman - her enthusiasm, talent and energy was a bonus for us too!

We also needed HEEEEEAPS of people to play the townsfolk of Coughin' City, to get a real crowd sound.
